The walls of Pearns Bay House are adorned with works of art. From serene landscapes and abstract masterpieces to thought-provoking contemporary works, the art reflects Antigua’s vibrant creative spirit and the wider world it connects to.

Among the highlights are Balinese painter Sujana I Nyoman, whose abstract works draw from the Young Artists tradition before shifting into textured modernity, and Nguyen Van Cuong, one of Vietnam’s most respected contemporary voices, whose work critiques cultural transformation with bold symbolism.
You’ll also find striking figurative sculpture by David Williams-Ellis, colourful and emotive canvases by French painter Pascal Maljette, and vibrant Mediterranean scenes from celebrated Scottish colourist Peter Graham.

Local Artists
Closer to home, Antiguan-born ceramicist Michael Hunt explores ancestry and island identity through clay, stone and wood, while hand-crafted African masks and unique textiles honour traditions from across the continent.
Even whimsical works, like the Calvert Trust’s In Safe Hands sheep sculpture by Helen Rebanks, are woven into the story of Pearns, adding texture and even more beauty to this piece of paradise.
